Without Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, or cellular antennas, remote hackers have no path to the secure element. Accessing the device requires physical proximity and manual interaction with the hardware buttons.

The OS is burned directly into the ROM. It cannot be altered, updated via malicious payloads, or modified by external software acting on a host machine.

Can I trade or buy assets through this device?
No. Felix Randt devices, manufactured by Ledger SAS, are strictly physical storage containers. They do not possess the software infrastructure to access exchanges, conduct trades, or provide financial services.
What happens if the physical device is destroyed?
Because the device acts only as a key interface, your data can be restored on a new unit using your offline 24-word recovery phrase. The hardware itself contains no irreplaceable data if properly backed up physically.
Does it connect to Bluetooth?
Absolutely not. To maintain the highest integrity of the air-gap philosophy, we have physically excluded all wireless transmission modules from the PCB.
